Our Story.
Rubi Skye was created by Natasha Hinett and the sister label to the House of S K Y E.
RS is a bohemian label offering mini, affordable monthly collections, keeping your wardrobe fresh and exciting.
Designed and influenced by our travels, each collection is fueled by our love of the 1970s and our passion for music festivals of the past and present. We are inspired by, and love, Indian vintage textiles so teaming up with our amazing Indian manufacturer is a match made in bohemian heaven!
All our pieces are made in unique bohemian prints, a mix of hand designed, hand selected and sourced, and then manufactured in Jaipur, India.
Styles are made from 100% cotton lurex, cotton embroidery, viscose’s, and faux suede, with additional hand finishes and fabric treatments for that extra bohemian touch.
Colour motifs, travel and moments of life continuously inspire us, and are bought to life by incorporating easy-to-wear fabrics that will transcend future seasons to come.
Packaging
We have now taken plastic out of our business altogether. That starts with the manufactures now making all of our product in cotton fabric tie string bags that are also reusable, machine washable and able to be reused for many years to come. These are great to reuse for storage or for travelling, makeup, jewellery, shoes just to name a few.
Each collection comes through with a matching bag to the collection Print.
Swing Tags
Our Swing tags are made out of 100% recycled paper and we are currently phasing out plastic tagging. We use 100% recycled string to hold our tag onto the clothes.
ComPOST
We are excited to introduce our new 100% biodegradable and compostable packing. This combination of arterials represent a 60% reduction in C02 emissions compared to traditional plastics, is non toxic and contains no phthalate or bisphenol A (BPA).
